Hello dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
I trust this message finds you well, whether you see yourself as a servant or a slave of God. Your dedication and contributions during our fellowship corner last Sunday were truly appreciated, making our time together rich and meaningful.
As we reflect on our discussions, one theme stood out prominently: our role as servants of our Lord Jesus Christ. It’s a profound reminder that our service and labor of love are directed towards Him alone.
Brother Benjamin raised a poignant question: “How can we claim to serve a God whom we cannot see?” The answer lies in Matthew 21:31-46, where Jesus illustrates that by extending acts of love and service to others, we are, in essence, serving God Himself.
Indeed, loving and serving others can be challenging at times. Yet, when we recognize Jesus as the one who commands us to do so, and trust in the promise of 1 Corinthians 15:58 that our labor in the Lord is never in vain, it becomes easier to persevere.
As obedient servants, we eagerly anticipate our reward from God, not seeking recognition from men but from our Heavenly Master. This mindset should permeate every aspect of our lives, particularly in our giving. When we offer our tithes and offerings, we do so unto God, knowing that we are contributing to His work and service.
May this understanding of our identity as servants (slaves) of Christ inspire us to serve one another diligently, with the assurance that our obedience will be richly rewarded by our loving Master.
Wishing you all a blessed day filled with the joy of serving our Lord.
With heartfelt blessings,
